We want to give you the best possible cabinetry products and experience. To do this, we undertake many efforts to better understand your interactions with us. Protecting the privacy and security of all information provided by and collected from you is very important to us. This policy explains how and why we gather, store, share and use your personal data, and outlines controls and choices you have regarding your personal data.
WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND PROCESS
VISITING OUR WEBSITE
When users visit and navigate our website, our web server automatically collects non-personally identifiable demographic information, including their IP addresses, rough geographic location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of users’ service use. We collect, compile and analyze this broad demographic information to aid in our legitimate business interests, such as diagnosing website problems and improving our products, processes, tools, advertising and experiences for our users. We may combine demographic information supplied by a subscriber at registration with our website and/or other digital platform usage data, to provide aggregate profiles about our users. We may share this information with third-parties as described below.
Users may inquire about our products and services by visiting our websites and submitting an inquiry form containing their information. This information is collected and processed, at our users’ request, for the purpose of addressing their questions or comments related to our products and services. In aggregate, we also process that information for legitimate business purposes, such as the examples described above.
After we complete the processing of a request, we will keep record of the submitted information and correspondence in a commercially-reasonable secure manner. Users wanting their information fully deleted should contact us, and we will comply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT
When setting up an account on our website, users will be asked to provide personal data, such as their name and email address. This information will be stored and processed by us to fulfill or in furtherance of a contract or prospective contract between a user or the user’s organization and us. Users may deactivate their customer accounts or notify us of their objection to us holding and/or processing the information they provide with respect to their account at any time by contacting us. In either case, we will delete their information, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and deactivate their account.
We may also store and process email addresses and other information provided by our users to distribute informational and/or promotional communications, such as emails, if users opt in to receive such communications. By opting in, users are consenting to our sending the communications and tracking information about their interaction with the communications. If users want to subsequently opt out of receiving these communications, they can unsubscribe from any digital communication within the communication itself or by contacting us; we will subsequently identify the user as opting out and cease communications, with the information stored in a commercially-reasonable secure system. Users wanting their information fully deleted should contact us; we will comply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Additionally, we may use tracking codes from other services and platforms, such as social media, to deliver content specific to users’ interests and to improve our products, advertisements and experience. We encourage users to review their social media settings to confirm they reflect their preferences with respect to tracking and sharing information on their devices.
We partner with third parties to provide services to our users and to improve our own products, services, advertisements and processes. In performing their duties under these contracts, these third parties may have access to personal information supplied by our users; however, they are required to maintain the confidentiality of this information and are prohibited from using the information for purposes outside the scope of their contract with us. Some of our third party processors include dealers/distribution partners, marketing agencies, analytic providers and software developers.
You may also choose to interact with us on social media, for example, by following, commenting on or sharing content. Based on your social media privacy settings, most social media platforms, like Facebook, analyze how you interact with us and combine it with other information to target advertisements.
We will not reveal any personal information that users provide to us to any third party unless necessary to fulfill a contract, a user provides his/her consent or the disclosure is permitted under applicable law. Third parties will not contact our users through the use of our email lists except through advertisements within the emails themselves, or unless users ask to be placed on a list to receive email from our advertisers on subjects of interest.
RETAINING PERSONAL DATA
We shall not retain personally identifiable information for any purpose or purposes longer than is necessary to fulfill such purpose or purposes.
Notwithstanding the other provisions of this policy, we may retain and process users’ personal information where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or to defend or exercise legal claims.
CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION
Our website complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. We do not knowingly collect contact or personal information from children under 13. If we become aware or are notified that we have personal information belonging to someone under the age of 13, we will promptly delete the information.
